3rd International “Be Creative” Held at University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran

The 3rd International "Be Creative" was held on 16–17 Ordibehesht 1404 (May 6–7, 2025) at University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran, with participation from students, knowledge-based companies, and technology units.
Dr. Ahmadreza Rabbani, President of the University, emphasized the importance of creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, highlighting the role of universities in turning innovative ideas into commercial products and preventing brain drain. A total of 70 student ideas and 20 industrial projects were submitted, with top ideas recognized through mentoring and evaluation.
Dr. Fardin Mansouri, Advisor to the Vice Minister for Technology and Innovation, noted the growing knowledge-based economy in Iran, with 59 science and technology parks, 295 incubators, and 23 technology campuses currently active nationwide, providing employment for 161,000 people.
The event featured three sections—student, industrial, and AI—with 32 student and 9 industrial ideas reaching the final round. Winners included 3 top student teams, 5 industrial ideas, and 3 AI projects. Highlights also included a robotics competition for high school students, an exhibition of knowledge-based company products, the inauguration of the university’s High-Performance Computing Center, and entrepreneurship workshops.
