Approval Granted for Two New MSc Specializations in Chemical Engineering at University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran

Dr. Jamshid Pirgazi, Vice President for Education and Research at University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran (MAZUST), announced the establishment of two new Master of Science (MSc) specializations in Chemical Engineering, namely Process Design and Environmental Engineering.
Dr. Pirgazi further stated that, following approval by the Council for the Expansion and Planning of Higher Education and the inclusion of the Chemical Engineering – Process Design and Chemical Engineering – Environmental Engineering specializations in the 2026 (1405) National Master’s Degree Entrance Examination program selection guide, student admissions to these specializations will begin in September 2026 (Mehr 1405).
With the addition of these two new specializations, the total number of MSc specializations offered by University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran will increase to 23.
