A consultative meeting titled “The Role of Universities in Investment for Production” was held at University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran in line with the national slogan for the year 1404 (2025–2026). The event, organized by the Faculty Basij Organization, brought together Dr. Abdolreza Karimpour, Head of the Mazandaran Provincial Management and Planning Organization; Engineer Hamedy, Governor of Behshahr County; university officials; and faculty members at Shahid Kaboli Hall.
During the meeting, Dr. Ahmadreza Rabbani, President of the University, highlighted the institution’s role in regional development through improving educational quality, training industry-oriented human resources, and supporting knowledge-based companies. He also emphasized the importance of establishing the Eastern Mazandaran Science and Technology Campus to strengthen industry–university collaboration and enhance innovation and production capacity.
Dr. Karimpour underscored the role of universities in addressing regional challenges and improving economic performance through productivity-driven research, while local officials emphasized cooperation between academia and executive bodies for sustainable development. The session concluded with faculty members presenting recommendations focused on development indicators, industry collaboration, human capital development, and strategies to enhance productivity and production.
