Dr. Mohammad Gholami Awarded Research Grant by the Iran National Science Foundation

Dr. Mohammad Gholami, faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering (Power Systems), has been awarded a research grant by the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF).

The research project, entitled "State Estimation of Active Distribution Networks Using a Fault Detection and Localization Approach to Enhance Reliability Indices," has been approved by the INSF and will be conducted at Mazandaran University of Science and Technology.

The Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) is a governmental funding agency established in 2003 under the name National Research Fund following the approval of its charter by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. The Foundation supports high-quality scientific research by monitoring global developments in science and technology, promoting innovative research, advancing the frontiers of knowledge, and encouraging the development of novel solutions to the country's strategic challenges.
